Codes of Conduct & Citizenship
Our aim is to ensure that children develop into happy, well-balanced individuals, who are able to function within and contribute towards both the school community and the wider community.
These codes provides the framework within which the school provides:
- Simple and fair rules which are communicated regularly
- Opportunities for children to be able to participate fully in school life and develop a sense of citizenship.
- Guidelines to ensure the safety and well being of all members of the school community.
- Support for children who are experiencing difficulties with their self-esteem and/or are experiencing problems functioning as a member of our school community.
- Guidance on how children take responsibility for their actions.
- Information on the roles of parents and governors within the Codes of Conduct.

Expectations of Good Citizens
Both Adults and children in our school should:
- Look after the school environment and treat school property with care.
- Work to their full potential in all aspects of school life.
- Promote a sense of community spirit within the school.
- Promote mutual respect within the school community.
- Deal with each other in a fair, calm manner.
- Take responsibility for themselves and their actions.
